The oldest gem in the live photos gallery on the site so far. According to Wendy, who was so kind to allow me to put these rare photos in the gallery, RHCP were originally supposed to play at Studio 10, but that club couldn't get a liquor license so it was moved at the last minute. Either way, if you're a newer fan, don't let these photos confuse you. At the age of 19 and a half, John was really sporting blonde hair and he didn't have the octopus tattoo on his right shoulder yet.
