This is the easiest possible tutorial on how to download something from our friends’ FTP server at Stone Cold Bush. Before reading it, make sure your internet connection is of a decent speed for downloading 4.5 Gigabytes of data (no dial-up, no ISDN…unless you’re a masochist).

Ovo je najjednostavnije moguće uputstvo za skidanje fajlova sa FTP servera naših prijatelja na Stone Cold Bush. Pre nego što ga pročitate, proverite da li je vaša internet veza dovoljno brza kako skidanje 4.5 Gigabajta podataka ne bi trajalo čitavu večnost (dakle, dial-up i ISDN ne dolaze u obzir, sem ako niste mazohista).

Step 1:
Go to Ghisler.com and download Total Commander. That program is handling FTP connections in a much easier manner than FTP-only programs, so this should be pretty clear. Install the program.

Korak 1
Idite na Ghisler.com i skinite Total Commander. Ovim programom se rukuje mnogo jednostavnije nego FTP programima, tako da bi ovo trebalo da bude veoma jasno. Instalirajte ga.

Step 2:
Go to Stone Cold Bush and register yourself an account. You need to have a valid email address for this, as the password will be emailed to you at that address. Also, just like everyone else, your browser needs to accept cookies.

Korak 2:
Registrujte sebi nalog na Stone Cold Bush. Za ovo vam je potrebna važeća elektronska adresa, jer će vam na istu biti poslaza lozinka. Takođe, vaš čitač mora da prihvata “kolačiće”, kao i na svim drugim sajtovima koji zahtevaju registraciju.

Step 3:
Having obtained your password, log in to your account and then click here. You need login info for the SCB1 FTP account.

Korak 3:
Pošto vam je poslata lozinka, ulogujte se na sajt, a potom klikinite ovde. Ono što tražite su parametri za SCB1 FTP nalog.

Step 4:
Open Total Commander. Make sure you’ve pressed the right button as the program works as shareware without any problems, as long as you’ve pressed the button you were told to press. In one of the two existing tabs, pick a folder on your computer and make sure you have enough space on the disk to download a DVD and still have your system function smoothly. It’s recommended to create a new folder for the DVD, which is done by pressing F7 and inputing a folder name.Then select the other tab.

Korak 4:
Otvorite Total Commander. Pritisnite dugme koje vam je rečeno da pritisnete i ovaj program će, sem ove začkoljice koja se pojavljuje uvek kad ga pokrenete, raditi kao shareware, bez restrikcije na funkcije. U jednoj od dve tabele koje se pojave, izaberite folder na svom kompjuteru, i proverite imate li dovoljno mesta na hard disku za skidanje celog DVDja i za malo “lufta”, kako bi vam kompjuter funkcionisao. Preporučljivo je da napravite poseban folder za vaš DVD, što možete učiniti pritiskom na F7 i unošenjem imena za dati folder. Potom selektujte drugu tabelu.

Step 5:
Go to Net » FTP connect in the top menu. Click New Connection….

Korak 5:
Idite na Net » FTP connect u gornjem meniju. Klikinite na New Connection….

Step 6:
Enter the data from step 3. You are most likely not going to need the transfer type and the port, but if there are any connection problems, type stonecoldbush.com:21 instead of stonecoldbush and try it both with and without passive mode for transfers.

Korak 6:
Unesite podatke iz koraka 3. Najverovatnije vam neće trebati tip transfera i port, ali ukoliko ne možete da se povežete, ukucajte stonecoldbush.com:21 umesto stonecoldbush i probajte i sa i bez pasivne mode transfera.

Step 7:
Having connected to the server, select double-click the DVD_RHCP folder. You should see a long-ish list of folders, scroll down to 2007-06-26 Indjija, Serbia PRO1, select and double click it as well.

Korak 7:
Pošto ste se povezali na server, selektujte i dvaput kliknite na folder DVD_RHCP. Trebalo bi da vam se učita poduža lista drugih foldera, spustite se do 2007-06-26 Indjija, Serbia PRO1, obeležite i dvaput kliknite.

Step 8
Select everything in the folder and press F5. The DVD should start transfering to your computer, file by file. Depending on your internet connection speed, it may vary, but it shouldn’t take more than 2 days in worst case.

Korak 8
Obeležite sadržaj foldera i pritisnite F5. Trebalo bi da započne skidanje DVDja na vaš kompjuter, fajl po fajl. U zavisnosti od vaše internet veze, brzina će varirati, ali transfer ne bi trebalo da potraje duže od dva dana, u najgorem slučaju.

Step 9
You can pause the download at any time, by simply pressing Cancel in the dialog box that’s open during the process. Next time you connect to FTP and select the file that was downloading when you interrupted the process, make sure you’ve pressed Resume Aborted Download in the dialog box that will appear.

Korak 9
Možete da pauzirate skidanje u bilo kom trenutku, tako što ćete pritisnuti Cancel u prozoru koji bi trebalo da je otvoren tokom celog procesa. Sledeći put kad se povežete na FTP i izaberete fajl koji ste skidali kad ste prekinuli proces, obavezno pritsnite Aborted Download u prozoru koji će se otvoriti.

Step 10
Afrer all the files have been downloaded, double-check the file sizes by opening both your local directory and the one on the server. After this, you can burn the contents of VIDEO_TS folder to a DVD (Burn DVD video files option in Nero, for example).

Korak 10
Pošto ste skinuli sve fajlove, dobro proverite da li su istih veličina kao i oni na serveru, tako što ćete u jednoj tabeli otvoriti folder na svom kompjuteru, a u drugoj onaj na FTP. Pošto ste ustanovili da je sve u redu, možete da narežete celokupan sadržaj VIDEO_TS direktorijuma na DVD (Npr. u Nero-u treba da izaberete opciju Burn DVD video files).
