Clarification of the Saturday gig….

13:59:55 CET | Viewed 627 times | Comments Off

Apparently, according to this article and one guy from Ramparts forum who got to meet John in Germany last February, John, Omar and Flea’s project is called Cameo and performance 10, plus the thing held on Saturday were actually their shows. They’re looking for a drummer, they’ve already written 5 songs during the last year’s tour and they might publish an album as well:)

Rock on!

Attention - pirates from EBay strike again

14:20:51 CET | Viewed 865 times | 2 comments

As we all know (even us who don’t actually use EBay), there are people with lack of moral who actually sell concerts and even internet albums with their own cover art. Well, I thought I’d warn you and show you one:

Here’s the front cover and the back cover. If anyone fell for that, well, you’ve been tricked, people. The internet album never had the barcode on it, neither email address of someone from Brazil and the songs are definitely not called “Three Troughts” and “I Go Trough These Walls”. Oh yeah, there’s no bonus track either.

And, to everyone who is doing things like this, why not be nicer? Not many artists give their demos and acoustic songs absolutely free on the ‘net, like John is doing, so, I beg you to respect that. The man loves his fans and you’re returning the favour by getting money for things which are supposed to be free…?!
