The kind people from Radio and Television of Serbia have responded to a friend of mine, who contacted them a couple of times, regarding their professional recording of RHCP’s set at Green Fest. There have, as we know, been many speculations regarding this event and how it will be edited for television, even stories that Red Hot Chili Peppers’ management won’t allow RTS to show it on TV…however, all of that was, apparently, not true.

So…RHCP’s set at Green Fest 2007 will be shown on either RTS1 or RTS2 (no information on satellite TV, but I will try to look it up!) on either 01st or 02nd January 2008. As of now, it’s not clear if they will show the whole set or not.

Please, do reply if you want me to pest them a bit and make sure SOS and the fabulous Hullabaloo-like intro are included in the set. I would them show them a link to this entry and to the site. You know, just in case.

Also, if you live here and have a DVD recorder + a good cable TV signal and are sure you won’t be having hangovers or something after New Year’s eve, speak up. Any help is welcome.

The Belgian television station Canvas will broadcast the Live From Abbey Road episode with the RHCP on Sunday November 4th at 13h CET.

The other bands featured in this episode are Snow Patrol and Madeleine Peyroux. You can find more information about the show on the Live From Abbey Road website, which also has footage and images available for viewing.

It would rule if someone could tape this in higher quality, of course. Until then, a short clip.

MTV European music awards will be held on 01st November in München, Germany; for the 13th time. This year categories have been a little bit expanded and the viewers have even more chances to vote for their favourites. Starting today, for the next 2 months.

They will probably play at around 17:30 GMT, but I heard that from people who were most likely counting how much time it will take for each artist to perform, so do not rely on that information.

All the performers and setlists are here. As the most of the world will be showing Live Earth on TV, as a direct broadcast, check your local TV channels for broadcasting times.

Tonight, RHCP’s performance on Live at Abbey Road, most likely filmed in November last year, will be broadcasted in UK.
