thanks to Isabel Jose for the translationMessy private life-Yes, Drug problems-yes, Creative engine in The Red Hot Chili Peppers-Definitely. John Frusciante hasn’t been the most reliable person the last decade, surely Flea and other members of the Peppers can agree with that. But Frusciante is also an exceptional talant, which he proves both in the group and on earlier solo albums.
The new album “Shadows Collide with People” is a mixture of mainstream melodies and crazy sound experiments, but in a funny way Frusciante manages to make it work, perfectly. The world can never get too much of big and self-willed rockmusic.
“Shadows” received 4 out of 5 stars.
