A mention of John’s departure from RHCP in Guitar World, March 2010

There's an one-page snippet on John's departure from the Red Hot Chili Peppers in March 2010 issue of Guitar World. As usual, our friend Roberto Campos was so kind to provide Invisible Movement with the scan, so you can read it and download it. The article itself is nothing really new, as it's mostly paraphrasing John's 16th December blog entry.

Just reread the full GW article from 2006…it really is a fascinating article. His talent and understanding of music is unbelievable…of course that isn't new info to me or anyone else, just a reminder of how truly remarkable a musician he is. Hope we see in depth articles like this again…some day, down the road…..

  2. David says:

I find it kind of funny that they took a picture where John and Anthony are standing with their backs to each other's to strengthen the rumors about any conflicts! :P

Old media crap, as usual…they're three months late and they simply have to make up for that someway. As an advocate of new media (which kills less trees, which is also awesome), I have noticed at least ten things where they went beyond what's human, what's sincere and what's real.

Then again, the only human, sincere and real thing in this story is John himself. The rest is an endless sea of vitriol.

  3. This is one in all the best blog posts that I’ve presumably ever read. It’s like a well-written paper. Your topic has relevancy, you’ve broken the topics down logically.

  4. Sensible browse, sensible points, some of that I’ve got learned along the manner as well (humility, grace, layoff the controversial stuff). Will share with my colleagues at work as we have a tendency to begin blogging from a company perspective.
