Flea on RHCP rehearsing and his work at Silverlake Conservatory

OK, so, some of you complained about Invisible Movement becoming a website about Chad Smith. Some others claimed there's too much fan-made contents (I assume you're not into web 2.0, huh?) and some thought this was getting as stupid as Kunta Kinte at a a Merle Haggard concert.

So, here's a video where Flea confirms that band is rehearsing, it's at 6:20 and transcribed below the video.

[flash http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-0Lw8b04Q0]

Host: People always want to know, what is the latest with the Chili Peppers?

Flea: Oh, the Chili Peppers...well, we've just had a hiatus, so we took a break and now, we're, you know, we're in the room, working on new music.

Hosts: Right on!

Flea and Tree (Keith Barry) are also talking about the Halloweenabaloo that'll take place on 31st October at 6 PM on the Union station. For more information, call 323-665-3363 or go to the conservatory's website. Make sure you listen to the whole interview, as listening about how they're helping children get the education they deserve is really beautiful;

*Many thanks to Charlie 'From' Stadium for the heads-up.

    While I don’t think the site’s becoming too Chad Smith-oriented (hey, if that’s where the news is, that’s where you go), I do have to somewhat agree on the whole “too much fan content” thing. I like this site because it tells me when something new is happening with John/RHCP, and doesn’t tell me anything when there isn’t– some of the other band fansites that I frequent feel the need to report on the slightest possible thing that could be construed as “news”, and often times, fan content works it’s way into that. I prefer not to have to sort through the real news and the not-so-real.

    Yeah i’d agree that the site isnt becoming too chad smith oriented, he’s just the only one really talking, i wish john would make a statement or appear with one of the other chilis in an interview, i just dont like the way everybodys talking but him, seems like theres something up, but im sure thats just me

    But Chad says things about John aswell, that’s news about John. And many Johnfans are fans of Chad too. You’re doing a great job! of course we want to hear from Chad :D

    Does it mean that Flea will play at the Halloweenabaloo ? With Ben Harper (too good to be true) ??! Alone ?
