Digi Snacks is out, John is on a different song
RZA’s long-expected Digi Snacks, which he’s releasing under the alias Bobby Digital is out in USA and soon to be out in Europe as well. The album is receiving mixed reviews, as it seems not to be fitting to everyone’s tastes; but isn’t that usually what happens with rap?
According to the information listed on a bunch of websites, including the very reliable Wu-Tang clan official BBS; John is not on You Can’t Stop Me Now as it had been announced many a time previously. He was supposed to be on it back in the 8 Diagrams days, but Dhani Harrison appears to have been credited for the electric guitar and RZA himself for the acoustic guitar on the song, while Stone Mecca will be playing it live.
However, John is on another track, and he’s playing some breathtakingly beautiful guitar through one of his mean machines. It’s the track number 12, Up Again. You can see that for yourself, if you download the album’s digital booklet from RZA Myspace and scroll down.
If you’re in the Americas, you can order the album already.
If you’re in Europe, you can pre-order it, as it will be out on 28th July.

John’s guitar should’ve been louder!
Just to clarify, I’m pretty sure L.A.-based R&B group Stone Mecca is credited for drums, bass, keys and lead guitar. I guess they are part of the “Wu-family.”
