Girl Talk used Under The Bridge riff on their song
Gregg Gillis alias Girl Talk has used the riff from Under The Bridge on his newest album, which is a medley of otherwise unconnectable songs.
There’s a particularly wonderful moment near the end of the album where Lil Wayne’s ubiquitous “Lollipop” slips inside John Frusciante’s lyrical guitar riff from the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Under the Bridge.” They are songs separated by two decades and two cultures, but in the context created by Gillis, they couldn’t be more right for each other.
The review is from Chicago Tribune and you can buy the album at Illegalart.net for any price you choose.
