mmmmmmmmmmm... it's a hard choice to do...... but i think that i preffer the forth option. half of it it's great, hatf of it it's very odd and some song are very hard(not imposible) to listen.... i mean there are songs like: more, height down, well i've been, a fall thru the ground, etc that are great john songs.but there are another ones like: nigger song, enter a uh that you cannot listen and/or like unless you are a great john fan and you like everything that he have done(like me)

i like that songs but to be honest there aren't good songs just are some things that john put togheter as a track to put in a CD that gives him money to buy some more drugs

it's an awfull truth but it's the truth
we should all be thankfull for john's recovery, and the fact that he has created the most beautifull songs in the wole wide world

gretings from Chile to all of frusciante fans

John said few years ago that there are copies wich havent been sold out and that he will put them on market again. Remastering would be soooo bad, so if we are talking about remastering then hell no! solding out '97 copies then hell yeah!
of course I think that album needs alot of atention couse its not easy to get on same side with it
also I would die to hear some of the songs live enter a uh, height down, smile from the streets etc

I voted for the top one (which is ahead at the moment!) but I must say I'm a little bit in the middle. I DEFINITELY want it to be re-published, it would be awesome to have the cd, but it's hard for me to listen to Smile as an album. I love certain songs, a lot of the songs actually, but I have to skip around when I listen to it... It doesn't really play straight through very well.

Wow!a new poll creates a new debate zone!...it's cool to have a new voting experience after that highly tensioned previous one...i'm so happy that i was the one who caused that uproar in the first place by commenting on one of Iva's entries prior to the poll and thus gave her the motive to set up "Josh's poll"(at least i think so,but the truth still lies in the hands of Iva)...after all we went through and all the disputes between the visitors,i feel so sorry for those 53% who voted in favour of Josh and i believe that in long term they'll regret what they've done....but i'm over with it and i move on to the current subject....well, to talk of "The Smiles From The Streets Hold" after such a long time is sort of nostalgic but at the same time painful...it's definitely a reminder of the bitter days during which John was so much obsessed with drugs and darker side of life in a secluded world he had built for himself...regardless of the mental aspects of that album, the music is also very raw and more of a "hit and run" sort of thing...vocals to be honest are terrible and there're no signs of his brilliant guitar playing...it's just something to refer to as discographical history and that's all it can offer...it's hard to imagine that the guy who wrote those songs is the same who has created all the masterpieces ever since.
