Poll Results: Josh Klinghoffer on stage behind John, playing additional instruments…your opinion?

Is Josh recording with them on their albums or is he just on stage with them?

Don’t you talk evolution to me Isaac…i know what’s best for RHCP…he doesn’t have the right to be there…he’s not worth to play along with’em….get him out of there…he’s a stranger…neither him nor anybody else fits into this band….u get that?…these four guys are unique and there are no matches to them…so,it’s better for Josh to pack his stuff and leave this bend before being booed of by faithful fans like us…you’re no RHCP fan buddy,you ain’t know nothing about them and you have no respect for them…they don’t need extra musicians…they’re in no need of any help from people like him…is that so?is it so that every once in a while someone comes along and joins the band in terms of your so-called evolution?is that what you mean?you think it’s just some place for fun?…no man,it’s the most sacred band on the planet and no trespassers are allowed in there…so,get him outta there.

i went to watch chilis for my fist time ever in adelaide and then sydney a couple of times, a few moments that ive been looking forward to for a freakin long time, the build up wasnt let down at all by seeing josh onstage, i was a fan of josh from johns solo stuff and felt totally comfortable having him onstage rocking out with the chilis, it felt to me like he was a part of john.

chilis can only get better from that sort of added influence and energy onstage. behnood. evolve. grow. up. he is a red hot chili pepper

I would like to write about josh. The first time I saw him on stage with rhcp, I thought it weird, because I usually say: Flea your’re on the awesome tune, chad you are energy, anthony you are so cool, john you’re the ONE … So, see Josh on the stage give for us fans a little “fear”… fear because we know that beautiful union they’ve, their frienship… and maybe we feel afraid of a new person… well, it’s a strage feeling for us i don’t know… BUT, I start paying attention for josh, and seeing him like a friend playing some music for feel good, and I looked for the rhcp and i saw them happy, smiling to each other They were so happy playing with josh that I started loving him The true is, that we need to look at him like a friend that comes to play so good stuff, not a strage. He isn’t a rhcp, but is good see him playing some musics in some shows! Of corse john are the guitarrist, he plays that awesome solos

I’ve recently discovered Josh’s amazing work on John’s solo projects and with Ataxia and gladly welcomed his worthy presence on the same stage with all of the Peppers. If you’ve read some of the Fleamails posted on RHCP’s website, you’ll hear Flea raving about how great it’s been to jam with Josh on stage, etc. As for precedents, let’s not forget Billy Preston playing with the Beatles on the rooftop during their infamous final live performance, immortalized on the record and film, “Let It Be”!

Hey, you are all fanatic RHCP Fans like I am and I think you shouldn’t slight each other. I love John’s solo work and I think he does a fantastic job. I love his albums with Josh, I love his albums without Josh. Josh has great influences on John, and if he doesn’t appear on every album, it’s okay. It’s the same with the Chili Peppers. If they jam with Josh, they create wonderful sounds. But I’m of the opinion, that Josh shouldn’t come on stage too often, beacause he is a friend of John and is able to create great sounds with them, BUT he is NO member of the RHCP. Last but not least, I’m not the greatest fan of Stadium Arcadium, so he almost always comes on stage when they play songs I don’t really love. But when they jam right before Californication, they should throw him off the stage.

By the way, Chris Warren plays synths on By The Way and Snow, but I think By The Way is a great rock song!

I think that the next step after Josh on stage with Peppers may be… Dave Navarro! Really! Why not?!
I really consider Josh as a good musician and good friend of John, but he’s not Red Hot’s member and basta! Each of Peppers earned thier right to be on the stage as Peppers and Josh… well you know, he didn’t.
I prefer him to be John’s partner in John’s solo recordings.

Ena,seems you only consider someone as a true John Frusciante fan only if that person supports the idea of Josh’s presence on stage with them which is so ridiculous…by the way,watch you’re language.i never insulted anyone,i just expressed my opinions and i still stick firmly to the idea that they’re a rock band and that nobody except those 4 gods should appear on stage and that a keyboard is a lowly instrument and is not suitable for a rock band…so i guess the retarded one is the one who insults…and on Flea’s trumpet,well that’s totally different cause that instrument and where Flea’s experience is coming from belongs to jazz academies and i’m sure that you know the difference of the high level of jazz music in comparison to underrated pop music and it’s main instrument which is a keyboard except for you’re retarded….last but not least,never try to claim the amount of your fanatic feelings for John before me because yours is like a drop against a sea of mine…he’s my idol and you have no idea of the importance of RHCP and John in my life…LONG LIVE FOUR-MEMBER RHCP.
