06th July 2007 - Paris, France

The show has just ended and the nice people of OHG have graced us with the setlist once again. And, well, there’s a new solo by John, Take It As It Comes, by The Doors. Random? No, it’s perfectly logical.
On 07th December 2006, in Vienna, John sang The Doors’ Blue Sunday, to pay tribute to the late Jim Morrison one day before his birthday. He sang it only once more, five days later and we never heard it again.
The day Jim died was 03rd July. However, he died in Paris, so paying a tribute to him in Chorzow wouldn’t make as much sense as doing it tonight, in the city where the famous singer spent his last days. Now, why this song and not Blue Sunday again? Well, that’s one thing I wouldn’t know, sorry.
So….mystery solved, here’s the setlist.

Every time i see the * mark beside one of the RHCP’s songs i get so pissed off to the extent that i never do in any other occasion…who the hell is this Josh guy?i saw him for the first time today during the Live Earth show and i felt terrible… why is John trying to destroy the band’s integrity by bringing in another guy just only because he’s personally so attached to him?this is a sabotage! this guy doesn’t fit into this band… i hate to see 5 people instead of 4 on stage…i’m afraid John’s persistance on keeping him within the band may lead to some serious problems….although John is a GENIUS but his taste of music is sometimes bizzare…he has once called this Josh guy the best musician he ever knows…that’s so wierd! it was first that Omar Rodriguez and now it’s Josh…RHCP are a foursome band and should always remain so…RHCP never need an extra member…better remember that Mr. Klinghoffer!….what’s your take on this issue Iva?let me know please.
By the way,RHCP’s performance at Live Earth was so disappointing when compared to that of Foo Fighters or Metallica….i donno, maybe it was because of the tight schedule they’ve had for the last couple of days and the fatigue caused by their Europian tour.unfortunately our local broadcaster dropped “So Much I” from their setlist:(.
yes doors I love them so much. I like to here this beautiful song from john. I wonder how he plays that
Looking forward to hearing these Doors covers!!
I can’t wait to hear the new cover song from The Doors, “Take it as it comes”. Hopefully someone will have it soon to share. Thanks for the news on that.
